Sweden - Indonesia Sustainability Partnership (SISP) Healthcare
SISP serves as the primary platform to drive sustainable healthcare transformation in Indonesia. Through SISP, Sweden and Indonesia collaborate on strategic initiatives that combine policy dialogue, technology transfer, and capacity building. Key activities under SISP include:
- G2G Partnership
- MoU signed in May 2025 between Indonesia and Sweden, establishing stronger ties and paving the way for healthcare collaboration.
- High-level visit planned for Q3 2026 to reinforce bilateral cooperation and accelerate project pipelines.
- Policy & Regulatory Dialogue
Leverage the G2G framework to engage key stakeholders on regulatory priorities and shape the national healthcare strategy.
- Network Development
Build partnerships with governments, hospitals, and private sectors to drive growth and innovation under the SISP umbrella.
- Capacity Building & Technology Introductions
Combine expert knowledge sharing with the introduction of advanced Swedish healthcare technologies. This includes accelerating project development with support from Swedfund, SEK, and EKN, while focusing on cancer care, diabetes care, emergency care, maternal and child health, rare disease treatment, and healthcare digitalization.
- Pilot Projects & Joint Initiatives
Develop screening programs, awareness campaigns, policy dialogues, and national program benchmarking—with a focus on cancer care, diabetes care, critical emergency care, maternal and child health, rare disease management, lung health, and healthcare digitalization.
- Swedfund Feasibility Study Grant
- Project: Dharmais National Cancer Hospital Development.
- Timeline:
- RFP for consultant starts Q1 2026.
