About the speaker: Maria Lindholm
Maria Lindholm knows international expansion from both sides of the table. Before joining venture capital, she led the international expansion of Swedish foodtech company Nick's, taking the brand from Sweden to over ten markets globally and navigating the full journey from product-market fit to international scale.
Today, Maria is CEO and Partner at Wellstreet, one of the Nordics' most active early-stage tech investors. In her role, she works daily with Nordic founders preparing to cross borders, and knows first-hand what separates the startups that scale from those that stall. She is also Chairwoman of Nordic Tech Week, the Nordics' largest free tech festival, a recurring name on Ledarna's list of Sweden's Future Female Leaders, and a guest lecturer at Stockholm School of Economics. She holds dual master's degrees in Finance and International Business from SSE and Bocconi University.
